Water almost up to the rim and then dive into the bubble bath. A wish which is frequently thwarted by the overflow. This is not the case with Viega. Because the manufacturer now offers a stylish and clever solution: Bathtub fittings, with which the water level can be raised by five centimetres.

Overflows are fitted in the tub rim and ensure that the water does not overflow when running the bath and then later when bathing. With the new tub fittings from the Multiplex range, Viega now makes it possible to raise this safeguard function by 5 centimetres when needed. And in just a single movement.

Light pressure, gentle increase

Well-designed like the familiar Multiplex fittings, the new Multiplex Visign M9 (combined drain and overflow) and Multiplex Trio Visign MT9 (combined inlet, drain and overflow) offer an additional comfort function – the water level increase. Pressing lightly on the designer operating element ensures that the water drain on the lower rim is closed and the water can fill up a whole 5 centimetres more. A slight tug on the actuation unit lowers the water level back to the normal level. The secure overflow function remains completely unchanged in both cases.

Retrospective fitting possible

The new bathtub fittings with water level increase are available in three sizes and can be combined with all conventional tub sizes. Existing tub fittings from the Multiplex range from 2015 can also be retrofitted with the new comfort function – the manufacturer provides a special conversion set for this.

Outstanding design

The Multiplex series with the various equipment sets has been nominated for the “Designpreis Deutschland” and awarded the “Red Dot Design Award” among other things. The new Multiplex Visign M9 and Multiplex Trio Visign MT9 models also impress with their reduced and straight-line design. They are available in chrome-plating and brushed stainless steel on request.
